Angie’s Lobster: Reviews & Ratings

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I was so skeptical at first. But let me tell you. No skepticism necessary. They're real lobsters. They're real delicious, and they're really nine bucks. I've heard things about Angie's for the last year. It's hard as an Arizona person to accept we can get decent seafood here. Angie's has it on lock. Straight from her wharf to us. It cuts out the middle man and lets us have this amazing Lobster roll and Fried Lobster. I still can't believe how much meat is actually in the lobster roll. It was like 8 claws worth. And my only reason for going was to try the honey spicy fried lobster, we must not have ordered them I thought I did but we didn't get them. Either way the fried lobster tail we got was the most amazing thing I've ever had. Started with a fried ended with the lobster roll. Saw the hack about putting the lobster roll on the fries and definitely going to try that next time. Had the best Arnold Palmer I've ever had in life here. Whenever I go out somewhere if they don't have Dr Pepper, Arnold palmer is my go-to this was a really good Arnold Palmer. Saw their berries and cream drink too for $0.99 and meant to take a picture of it but that looked tasty. Will have to come back for breakfast because it's reasonably priced and will just have to come back because it's close to my house and I like lobster. Well done Angie's. So I'm fat and I've been back three times. The Honey spiced fried Lobster is better than... You know the rest. The grilled is also fire I think I need the honey sauce on the side for it

What a great concept! I saw this place from the road and just had to stop. It’s drivethru only. They have a good selection of seafood . We went with the chilled lobster roll. Got fries and a drink. All for $27 dollars. The lobster was packed on and had good flavor. The fries were good too. Service was fast! Pay by credit card or bank card only. There were 3 or 4 spots where you could park if you wanted to eat there.

I've tried most of the salads. None have disappointed! This location only has drive thru or walk up. I always order ahead of time so not sure how long the wait is.

I just had to leave a review for the incredible employee working tonight at Angie's Lobster! This person was by themselves and absolutely crushing it. Seriously, they were so polite and handled everything with such grace, even with the pressure of the long line and orders! And as always, the food was amazing!

I gotta say this. WAY better AND more affordable than salad and go. I used to work at salad and go. Their chicken comes in a refrigerated plastic bag. The chicken at Amy’s is superior, tastes freshly grilled and not nearly as processed by any means. Their flavors and omg the 5$ warm bowls! Try the harvest one it’s so delicious. I love their snack quesadillas too, the cilantro ranch sauce that comes with it is so tasty. And to top it off they do cold brews for a dollar something with oat milk at no extra charge. Woooo!

Update: The employee who does the voice for ordering is always so nice and efficient when they are there. Definitely deserves promotion! I think overall they have improved in the short amount of time we've come back. I wanted to note that the prices for lobster rolls are going insane but I understand why. Prices are still great for many of the other dishes. Beats out many other fast food places but with better ingredients. We have to come during certain hours of the day because the lines get super long, and you can get stuck there for a while. We do like coming here but had some issues since they started incorporating more food. They now start making us park in front to wait for our food even after waiting a while. I did have issues with ordering double chicken, and when I sent this to the team, they just said they disagreed with me but still sent a gift card, which is not easy to use. It's kind of a weird flex to say you're wrong, but here. The food is still pretty good overall once you get it. I think if I had to make a suggestion for food handling, it would be to not hand the drinks with the same gloves you handle food. We've had a few times where there was food on our drinks. Pretty gross.

Maine lobster at Angie's Lobster in Tempe, AZ! They make it affordable with focusing on efficiency. With buying lobster right off the boats and eliminating third parties where they can. They have an extensive menu but I recommend the Warm Lobster Roll combo that comes with fries and butter. All you need to do is order with the cashier, find a seat and find spray and towels to clean the table and chairs, and pick up order when called. The orders are all packed up paper bags. The restaurant isn't large and had about 5 tables and seats; no fuss or muss. The prices is very reasonable and the quality is outstanding! Nothing was artificial or filler (eg. shrimp, crab) - all lobster. The bread used is buttery and soft brioche and it paired so well with the lobster overload as I picked up my lobster roll, the lobster tail fell off and hit it the floor. :( I really don't know why Angie's Lobster stay in business but when I visit Arizona, this will always be on 'must come back' list.

I will start this review off by first talking about breakfast. Why breakfast for a lobster roll place? Because the line here was always so long that it was easier for me to come in the morning to try their food, and if they’re selling it, it still needs to be reviewed! I ended up trying the Bacon, Sausage, and the fried lobster rolls. I will start by saying that the eggs seem like powdered eggs, not fresh. This was pretty disappointing to me because I don’t know why you would serve fake eggs when you’re trying to promote a quality product. Granted, it wasn’t terrible, but it was disappointing. The breakfast potatoes are heavily seasoned and were absolutely wonderful. The bacon roll comes with 2 slices of extremely thin bacon to where it almost felt insulting, while the sausage roll has one link of breakfast sausage cut in half to cover the whole roll. Regarding the bacon, I rather have them charge more for a better cut, or just simply more bacon. The breakfast lobster roll also came with maple syrup, which I tried since it came with it. I didn’t like this at all and it made the food taste cheap. In fact, the fried lobster in general just did not taste THAT good... When I finally was able to get a lobster roll for lunch, I ended up getting the number 2, “Warm Lobster Roll with Seasoned Lemon Butter.” The butter comes in a packet as well as the Angie’s sauce. The French fries are probably some of the best fast food fries I’ve ever had, and act as a great compliment to the lobster rolls. I have had the lobster rolls a couple times and will say that the bread can get kind of soggy if it sits too long -just watch out for that. As mentioned in other reviews, the lobster rolls are about the size of a hotdog, and I can eat it in about 4 to 5 bites. It also comes with a drink, either lemonade or iced tea. I had the lemonade and it was pretty tasty and not too sweet. Regardless of the 4 stars, I will be back for the #2 with the lemon butter and amazing Angie’s sauce. I would just stay away from the mediocre breakfast with what seemed to be powdered eggs. Final pet peeve about Angie’s Lobster: There is information all over their property and website about how they save money to bring a better product. This is great and I applaud them for doing such as it also reduces waste for the environment. However, they also give one napkin which has been covered in grease 100% of the time that I have received an order. I would just rather have them not give me any napkins at all. These lobster rolls can be pretty messy and one napkin isn’t nearly enough once you add the butter and Angie’s Sauce. I wouldn’t recommend eating one in the car.
